Our team knows that the most important key to success in policy work is coalition building.

In 2013, Stein & Vargas, LLP assisted the National Association of the Deaf to achieve an historic victory for deaf and hard of hearing truckers. For the first time, the United States Department of Transportation granted exemptions from the DOT hearing requirements for the first 40 deaf truckers. More than 570 individuals and organizations filed comment overwhelmingly supporting the right of people who are deaf and hard of hearing to drive trucks commercially. Read more here.
